Pigs love rooting: nature’s tillers. We put our pigs where we want the brush and weeds gone. Once they have rooted through an area, we move the pigs to a new section, then rake the earth and put in a type of grass we want. Seeing a bramble-y, rough section of pasture turn into lush forage is a joy.
In addition to the grass, nuts, and grubs they forage, we feed our pigs non-GMO, locally grown feed.
The meat is processed at a USDA-inspected facility and packaged in convenient vacuum-sealed portions.
